.elmes: My wardrobe is like a charity shop clothes hanger with clothes of every decade, style and shape.

🌻 How would you describe your style?
Individualistic. I have catered my style to suit me and what I love. My wardrobe is like a charity shop clothes hanger with clothes of every decade, style and shape. Normal bores me.

🌻 How did you develop your style?
When I was a teenager I tried the normal clothes everyone was wearing but, it was not me. I would look at artists, celebs, models etc. to develop my unique style. I wanted my style to make a statement before I even spoke.

🌻 How do you put an outfit together?
I will put my outfit together depending on my alter ego that day. If I want more of a 90’s look that day then I will make an outfit to fit that. If I want more of an indie feel then I will pair my outfit to suit how I feel. It usually ends up with a mountain of clothes on the floor either way.

🌻 Give us some style advice!
BE YOURSELF. Don’t wear an outfit because that is what the trend is, wear what make you feel like yourself! Don’t categorise yourself to one style, it will hold you back. Draw from different styles, decades etc. to develop your unique style, never say no till you have tried it.

: I piece an outfit together by my mood for the day.

How would you describe your style?
I would say my style is a mix of a lot of things. I would say that it is a lot of bright colours, dungarees, jumpsuits, and converse. And a whole lot of leopard print.

How did your style develop over time?
As a child, my style was mostly bright colours. It still is to a certain extent. But I would say now my style has developed with pairing the right colours together whilst also including the right accessory. This could be a bright coloured beanie, jewellery, or a statement bag or tote.

How do you piece an outfit together for the day?
I love this question. I piece an outfit together by my mood for the day. If I want to feel bold, I put on my favourite statement piece outfit. And if I want to feel pretty, then I will put on my favourite dress. If I am finding it hard to pair an outfit together, I would try and take inspo from Brittany Bathgate, fashion in the 90s and of course Pinterest.

What fashion advice would you give us?
Don’t be nervous to try something new and out of your comfort zone. You can work it. Go and put on that outfit you have been putting off because you are nervous to wear it. Whatever you wear, you can make it work. Fashion is something you are supposed to enjoy and have fun with. Enjoy your clothes and take risks with your outfits, because you never know. The outfit you may be scared to try on could be your favourite in your wardrobe. So be bold, take risks and HAVE FUN!!!

: “Dressing well has gotten me out of some of the worst moods.”

How would you describe your style?
I would say my style is a mix of classic, retro, and forever changing with my mood.

How did you develop it over the years?
My style was wild as a child because I have always loved playing with color. After loads of experimenting in my teens, my style has evolved in a vibe that is more simple and chic. Although I still have my colorful days, I like to think of it as an evolution. We are allowed to change.

How do you pick an outfit in the morning?
In the morning, I dress depending on how I want to feel. Whether it is flirty, loud, edgy, or seventies inspired; dressing well has gotten me out of some of the worst moods.

What does fashion mean to you?
Fashion is a way to show people how you feel without saying a word. Fashion is somewhat of an escape for me. It is a place I go when I need inspiration.

What fashion tip would you give someone wanting to explore their personal style more?
You can pull it off. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Enjoy your body, enjoy clothes, enjoy your one and only life.

Much love,
Justice

“Stop counting yourself out!

I’ve never viewed myself as someone with fashion because my wardrobe never encapsulated an aesthetic. I wear what I like and what is practical for my life. And I had just excepted I may not be fashionable.

I had accepted this until I realized it was all built on a lie. I had deprived myself of an entire world of creativity just because I didn’t think what I already had was enough. Fashion doesn’t mean you have to stick to one aesthetic, whatever you have is enough!

If you wake up in the morning and choose to wear clothes that you like, clothes that make you feel good, then honey that is your fashion!

Don’t discount your fashion just cause it doesn’t meet the world's requirements of fashion.

Fashion is first and foremost for YOU!”

''Remind yourself how far you've come, and own your story for it has formed you into the authentic person you have become and are becoming.

Needing others feels vulnerable but see it as a gift for we are wired to live in community and not to figure it all out by ourselves. Family for me is about going through dirt and amazing moments together while celebrating the process and reminding each other of the greatness that is in you.

Don't underestimate small beginnings.. you are worth seeing your dreams come true darling. The harder the fight, the greater the reward. Look up, for greater things are yet to come! Lots of love and hope for 2021! Hugzz, EZZI''

"We differ and carry all a unique kind of beauty. I learned to let my hair wave and dance in its brilliant, untamable wildness. I learned that a piece of lace, a certain colour or fabric – it all speaks to my imagination and has the ability to lighten me up, even radiating joy on those around me."
