Five-inch, three-inch, boardshorts, zip-aways. Shorts-wise, you’ve done the lot. But sometimes you can over-think it. Dark top, light shorts. Light top, dark shorts. Here — the back half of the latter suggestion — we’ve crafted these from linen as our drill tops and sewn in a polyester half-lining for modesty. So you don’t get arrested, basically. Because that would be bad. Because you are too reliant on wifi and Substack and notifications from The Athletic to survive jail. Wear these with loafers, wear them with sandals, wear them cutting up Golborne Road with an iced Americano and without a care. Throw most of your other shorts away. Not all, but most.
