If you're a creative business building your identity or an artist researching your niche, getting to know your audience and their pain points is essential.

In marketing, pain points are the problems, frustrations, needs, or aspirations your audience has. Recognising them helps you create solutions, products, services, or artwork that resonates in a meaningful way.

That's why our next workshop at Arbeit Studios – Lisson Grove, in partnership with the University of Westminster, is all about Understanding Your Audience. We see it as a foundation for creative businesses and a valuable tool for artists looking to better understand the communities they reach and conversations around their work.

The workshop is free but there are only a few spots available, so grab your free ticket while you can and/or send this to a friend who might need this session.

A huge thank you to all the friends and community who last weekend braved the hot weather to visit our first Open Studios at Lisson Grove - which coincided with a first glance at The Shape of Many, a group exhibition of artworks by studio holders, co‑curated by Arbeit Galleries and .artist

If you missed it, you can still visit the exhibition on Saturdays and Sundays, from 11am to 5pm, until 12 July.

Arbeit Studios - Lisson Grove opens its doors for the local community, artists, partners and friends for an Open Studios weekend with artist studio visits and the launch of "The Shape of Many", a group exhibition by our studio holders. Visitors are invited to explore works‑in‑progress, meet the artists and experience a wide range of practices across visual art, design, craft and performance. Come visit!

Arbeit Studios is taking part in Art Trail Walthamstow this weekend.
Visit Leyton Green Gallery to see our studio holders’ collaborative installation Spring in Bloom, created especially for the trail.

While the Art Trail runs only until 14 June, the window display will remain on view throughout June: a celebration of colour, collaboration and the creativity of our Leyton Green Studios community.

Hackney Wick has spent 150 years in a state of constant reinvention, evolving from a hub of Victorian industrial innovation into an epicentre for artists. This neighbourhood is a vital part of a borough defined by thinkers, outsiders, and rule-breakers, from Ada Lovelace to the pioneers of the "noughties" art scene.

As a local space for artists and creativity, Arbeit Studios celebrate Hackney History Festival this May, as an excellent opportunity to learn more about our neighbourhood.

Trowbridge Gardens is proud to be one of the stops of the Hackney Wick walking tour, led by Hackney Tours and Wick Award. This will be a deep dive into our local identity, learning the stories of rebellious and fascinating heritage and ensuring that the places and people that define Hackney for generations aren't lost to time.

The tour starts at 7 pm in Homerton and ends around 8:30 at Hackney Wick Station. Tickets are currently sold out, but a waiting list is available to secure a last-minute spot if one becomes available. Learn more at
