The First Ukrainian Shopping Fest Brave Station in London continues!

Brave Station Ukrainian Shopping Fest: Christmas Weekend

We are excited to see you all on the 17th and the 18th of December at Brave Station Ukrainian Shopping Festival: Christmas Weekend, from 12pm to 8pm at the Support Ukraine Coordination Hub. You will get to experience a rich programme of shopping, entertainment and music. There will be 50 brands represented at the festival, including Etnodim, Foberini, Litkovska, Oliz, Aspinal, Poustovit, Vikele Studio, Luvi, Kleynod, Svarga, Yakush, Duna, Gunia, Koza Dereza, and others! There will be a variety of small and mid-sized Ukrainian businesses, art works from Ukrainian artists, real Ukrainian culture and Ukrainian music. You will witness performances from Ukrainian musicians, workshops and inspiring lectures, a fun children’s corner, delicious Ukrainian food with Ukrainian dumplings (vareniki), golubtsy, and borsch.

Brave Shopping Christmas Festival is a place where you can experience Ukrainian brands, food, art gallery and singers. The main aim is to raise money to support Ukraine, as well as to support small and mid-sized business which are currently the frontline of the Ukrainian economy.

Our UYAVA Fashion Collaboration Platform partnered with Brave Stationn & Support Ukraine / London Euromaidan (London, UK) to support Ukrainian small businesses and Ukrainian women entrepreneurs whose bravery, resilience and strength to continue in the face of adversity cause the world to marvel. They produce, create and run their business under air aid alarms and shelling. They are Ukrainian economic frontline. As a result people all over the planet support them and they are an example to millions.

Proceeds from this event will also help Support Ukraine Coordination Hub to collect humanitarian aid for Ukraine.

Платформа UYAVA Fashion Collaboration Platform забезпечила співпрацю двох українських модних брендів із оновленим готелем Lumberjack у Каліфорнії, США. Бренд RITO створив та виготовив колекцію авторського трикотажу для кімнат готелю. Серед розроблених одиниць – як однотонні покривала, що відрізняються складною фактурою, так і трикотаж з авторським принтом розробленим balbek bureau.

“Українські дизайнери чудові тим, що вміють дуже швидко виготовляти якісні вироби за доступну ціну. Я працювала з багатьма країнами світу і ніколи не зустрічала тих, хто може виготовити якісний продукт за такий короткий термін, як українські виробники. The UYAVA Fashion Collaboration Platform has enabled the cooperation of two Ukrainian fashion brands with the renovated Lumberjack Hotel in California, USA. The RITO brand (91Lab) has created and produced a collection of designer knitwear for hotel rooms. Among the developed pieces are both plain blankets with a complex texture and knitwear with an author's print developed by the BALBEK Bureau.

“Ukrainian designers are great for being able to make quality products very quickly at an affordable price. I have worked with many countries around the world and have never met those who can make a quality product in such a short time as Ukrainian manufacturers. Ukrainians' attention to detail is unprecedented,” says Jen Sidary, global fashion strategist and co-founder of the UYAVA Fashion Collaboration Platform, commenting on why international companies are paying more and more attention to Ukraine.

The UYAVA Fashion Collaboration Platform has enabled the cooperation of two Ukrainian fashion brands with the renovated Lumberjack Hotel in California, USA. The Aviatsiya Halychyny brand has created and manufactured uniforms for hotel staff.
Among the developed items are the brand's signature polo, hoodies and sweatshirts with custom prints.

Проект UYAVA: українські бренди одягу розробили спеціальні колекції для каліфорнійського готелю.

Представляємо історичний готель Hotel Lumberjack в Каліфорнії, відновлений представниками українських креативних індустрій та наповнений українським креативом.

Готель розташований у місті Сонора, заснованому в 1850 році мексиканськими золотошукачами. Мандрівники приїжджають сюди, щоб побачити місця золотої лихоманки, які оточують регіон, або вибирають Сонору як відправну точку для одноденних поїздок до національного парку Йосеміті.

Lumberjack є частиною мережі Sierra Nevada Hospitality LLC, яку очолює Джеффрі Майклз. Три роки тому Джефф купив два історичні готелі – Rodeway Inn і легендарний Historic Sonora Inn. За його власними словами, «обидва вражають зовнішнім виглядом, унікальною історією та мають прекрасне розташування в центрі міста, але потребували повної реконструкції. Зрештою я вирішив їх придбати і перетворити на сучасний комплекс під назвою Lumberjack.

Джефф живе між Києвом і Каліфорнією, тому до цього проекту залучив представників українських креативних індустрій: інтер’єр готелю створило бюро balbek bureau на чолі з архітектором Slava Balbek, меблі – Cassone - Furniture for Hospitality & Retail, брендинг розробила креативна агенція Twid.

Платформа UYAVA Fashion Collaboration надала участь у цьому проекті двом українським модним брендам – RITO та Авіація Галичини.

RITO (91Lab) створила та випустила колекцію дизайнерського трикотажу для готельних номерів. Бренд «Авіація Галичини» створив та виготовив уніформу для персоналу готелю.

Presenting the historic Lumberjack Hotel in California, renovated by representatives of the Ukrainian creative industries, and filled with Ukrainian creativity.

The hotel is located in Sonora, founded in 1850 by Mexican prospectors. Travelers come here to see the places of the gold rush that surround the region, or choose Sonora as a base for day trips to Yosemite National Park.

Lumberjack is part of the Sierra Nevada Hospitality LLC network, headed by Jeffrey Michels. Three years ago, Jeff bought two historic hotels – the Rodeway Inn and the legendary Historic Sonora Inn. In his own words, "both are impressive in appearance, unique history and have a great location in the city center, but needed complete renovation. In the end, I decided to buy them and turn them into a modern complex called Lumberjack".

Jeff lives between Kyiv and California, and therefore involved representatives of Ukrainian creative industries in this project: the interior of the hotel was created by BALBEK Bureau headed by architect Slava Balbek, furniture – CASSONE, branding developed by creative agency TWID.

The UYAVA Fashion Collaboration Platform, which promotes Ukrainian fashion brands on world markets, provided participation in this project to 2 Ukrainian fashion brands – RITO and Aviatsiya Halychyny.

RITO (91Lab) has created and produced a collection of designer knitwear for hotel rooms. The Aviatsiya Halychyny brand has created and manufactured uniforms for hotel staff.

Вітаємо BEVZA з успішним шоу на Тижні моди у Нью-Йорку!

BEVZA — бренд жіночого одягу, заснований у 2006 році дизайнером Світланою Бевзою у Києві.
Ключова ідея бренду побудована навколо чистого та найбільш знакового предмета одягу – “білої сукні”. Оновлені українські мотиви – ще одна особливість бренду. BEVZA виконує тонку роботу з етнічними символами та культурними кодами та переосмислює їх у сучасний спосіб. Світлана Бевза також є одним із дизайнерів, що займаються еко-рухом в Україні, і почала впроваджувати стійкі технології у своєму одязі ще у 2018 році зі своїми еко-пуховиками, а пізніше в 2019 році із трикотажем, виготовленим із перероблених пластикових пляшок.

Congratulations to BEVZA on a successful show at NYFW!

BEVZA is a Kyiv-based womenswear brand established in 2006 by designer Svitlana Bevza.
Her key 'white dress concept' is built on the idea of the pure and most iconic piece of clothing. Updated Ukrainian motives is another trademark of the brand. It carries out a delicate work with ethnic symbols and cultural codes and reimagines them in a modern way. Bevza is also one of the biggest designers involved in the sustainability movement in Ukraine, and began implementing sustainable techniques in her clothing back in 2018 with her eco-friendly puffers and later in 2019 with her knitwear crafted from recycled plastic bottles.

We celebrate fashion in Ukraine: Ukrainian Fashion Week відсвяткував 25-річчя.

Заснований у 1997 році, Ukrainian Fashion Week об’єднав українських дизайнерів в індустрію і став першим Тижнем моди не тільки на теренах пострадянського простору, а й усієї Центральної Європи. У 2022 році UFW святкує 25-річчя, а разом з ним святкує і сучасна українська мода.

Сьогодні Ukrainian Fashion Week – це латформа підтримки молодих дизайнерів, центр sustainable fashion-освіти та нетворкінгу України, це стартовий майданчик брендів, що стали всесвітньо відомими, це пункт перетину та взаємодії індустрій, трибуна, з якої ми звертаємось до суспільства з розмовою про глибокі соціальні проблеми.
Це місце, де українська мода стає світовою.

Перший інтерактивний центр історичного та сучасного одягу в Україні, заснований і куратором костюма Марічкою Квіткою. Інститут – це простір для тимчасових виставок, тематичних та освітніх заходів та дослідницьких проектів у сфері моди.
Їхній нещодавній проект «Спадок» (українською мовою означає «Спадок») у коротких роликах зображує жінок у традиційних костюмах із 16 різних регіонів України.
