Offered through a bespoke service, the Ultrafino is woven in Ecuador to an extraordinary grade of 42 or 45 – sometimes known as ‘Exhibition Grade’ – by one of only a handful of master weavers. It takes staggering dedication and up to 12 months to weave a piece as fine as this. The result is one of the finest Panamas available in the UK and Europe – a hat so feather-light and silky-smooth, it has to be seen to be believed. All our Ultrafino Panamas remain unfinished pieces, awaiting their finishing touch. We’ll guide you in selecting your crown shape, profile, brim width, ribbon trim and sweatband material.
