Merry Christmas! Here's a little festive stocking made for one of my favourite little people. Hopefully Santa filled it with lots of goodies on Christmas morning. Made with loopy and shaggy rag rug techniques.

Which one's your favourite? A Sunday well-spent, making Christmas cards and playing with free-hand machine embroidery.
For a while, I've been stashing plastic netting from fruit and veg wondering what to do with it. And I've finally found a way to re-use it ๐Ÿ˜Š
The white netting has been painted with gold fabric paint and works perfectly as a border. The Christmas tree has been made from kiwi netting, using a zigzag stitch to secure in place.
