We recently visited Stella Murphy in her vibrant studio in Peckham, London. The conversation was thoughtful, genuine and never far from a smile.

I walked away from the conversation feeling more aware of the naunces of how creativity functions as both an outlet and an essential means of self-expression. It was a pleasure and a lesson to be a part of this chat.

The world of responsible clothing is full of creativity, resourcefulness and alternate thinkers. No brand illustrates this better than Kemkes. Kemkes use deadstock fabrics and reimagine them into unique, one-off items that both honour the original material and create something entirely new.

The bag in the first image is made from a deadstock rug and the second image... a sleeping bag. This is how the fashion industry should behave, by creating beautiful products without adding to our environmental crisis with new, unnecessary materials.

We'll be releasing a full collection of spring/summer products by Kemkes tomorrow at 8pm gmt. Each item is made from deadstock materials, so quantities are very limited - don't miss it!
