Curtains, towels, cleaning cloths... not exactly fashion statements, but what happens to them when we're done with them?

This article from letsrecycle.com highlights how non-fashion textiles are being largely overlooked in current waste and recycling strategies. While fashion-related circularity is finally getting the attention it deserves, everyday household and industrial textiles continue to quietly pile up in landfill.

We’re proud to report that nothing we process has been sent to landfill since November 2014. Instead, we continuously seek out and implement alternative solutions that ensure textiles are reused, repurposed, or recycled in the most effective way possible.

We don’t see textiles as waste we see them as valuable resources. Each item is carefully assessed for its absorbency, linting, and abrasiveness, so we can determine the optimal recycling method and maximise its utility.
