OUR STORY
GREAT BRITAIN LEATHER was founded by Pakistani-British entrepreneurs Inshal Khan and Abdul M. Fahad when they envisioned creating the perfect men's and women’s jackets using textiles made with the world's finest fibers.
Inshal and Fahad went to the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, and decided to move to London and pursue their dream of becoming fashion entrepreneurs right after graduating as Textile Engineers. They started interning for fashion companies in New York and then moved to Milan to pursue Fashion studies.
While living in Milan, they experimented with menswear tailoring fabrics of Italian origin and created a collection of 10 intelligent, feminine, chic jackets. They envisioned GREAT BRITAIN LEATHER to be a line of beautifully made men's and womenswear: using only the finest materials, manufactured by the best factories, priced reasonably (direct to consumer only) and delivered to the doors of women around the world.
The brand's foundation is to transform the best textiles and materials into investment pieces. Both essential and sophisticated, but always with a fashionable edge.
Inshal and Fahad live in London and are continuously inspired by the city's energy and people. They enjoy being able to create and deliver beautiful, empowering collections to men's and women's doors. They often travel in search of the most precious fabrics and factories that will inspire her to create new pieces.
