I’m pressing pause.
•
Ada Dakin means everything to me, but we are still a self-funded start-up, and in all honesty I’ve felt quite overwhelmed (emotionally and financially) over the past few months, so I’ve felt compelled to make a change. Ada Dakin is about slowing down, being kind to ourselves (and the planet), and making meaningful choices. So it’s crucial that I live by these values too.
•
This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly. I believe in slow fashion now more than ever, but it’s imperative to me that Ada Dakin continues to hold our values high, by being produced to order in UK, supporting local British craftsmanship, embracing recycled fabrics and trims, and being designed with purpose to zero waste standards.
•
So I’m taking this as a moment to reset, dream big, and slowly create collections for 2026 in my own time (I’ve got amazing ideas brimming already!). In the meantime, our pieces were intentionally designed to be timeless, so our full collection will remain available on our website until the end of the year.

Your support for Ada Dakin and myself, means the world to me and I’m truly grateful for every single like, kind word and purchase we have ever received. Let’s continue celebrating slow fashion, British manufacturing and girl power together! I’m excited to share our plans for SS26 with you soon! •
