Found this while looking through old photos.

Nine years ago I took this photo of the OG Tony T-shirt, before we added our lifestyle section. Back then, I was even thinking about adding key cutting or shoe repairs!

We put a sketch of my face by Fran on a T-shirt, hoping a few people might like it.

Instead, we sold over 100 in the first month.

Looking back, it taught me that there’s no rule saying you have to stick to one thing. Sometimes it’s worth following an idea just to see where it leads.

That little sketch slowly grew into a brand built around East London culture, and my East Asian heritage.

It’s reminded me that you don’t have to be defined by what you do for a living. Sometimes it’s worth making time for the things you’re passionate about and seeing where they lead.

Looking back, I’m just grateful we took the chance.

I’m also loving wearing my T-shirts while food blogging at the same time. It feels like the perfect excuse to wear this one over an authentic East Asian breakfast.
