New year, old me.
Most of you know, I started LuHu Studio in 2022 when I went on maternity leave, as a way to keep making jewellery from the warm cost comfort of my spare room rather than heading down to the icy cold workshop to play with lots of fun materials that were not safe to use during pregnancy.
Since then, I've had two lovely Christmas seasons of selling my fun colourful earrings at lots of lovely local craft fairs and markets as well as online.
Now I'm heading into 2024 with a one year old π€© I feel like the time is right to hang up my clay earrings and get back into the world of fine jewellery π I popped down to the workshop last week to do a quick repair for a friend and being back at the bench brought so much joy!
I am a sucker for a fresh start, starting something new on a Monday or on the 1st always seems like a good idea, tomorrow is a double whammy!
2024 is the year of little steps leading to big things, I love watching behind the scenes of industries that I don't know much about and would love to share more behind the scenes of the process of making jewellery, if you'd like to see, follow along
BIG THANKS.
