Seastex In April 2021, a waste opportunity within the mussel industry came to our attention.

The mussel industry generates a waste by-product called byssus fibres also known as mussel beards, which are currently processed alongside other animal by-products in an energy recovery process or disposed of in landfills. Both these practices contribute to the generation of methane gas, a greenhouse gas that is more than 25 times as potent as CO2 in trapping heat in the atmosphere. Seastex Ltd, f

I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at the and all the visitors who stopped by our stand during the event. Your enthusiasm, questions, and kind words of praise for our novel acoustic and insulation materials were truly inspiring.
