The NYHB Edition.

This edition was originally created for a very special person who I (one half of us) first met in New York. I was looking for a pair of rare trainers/sneakers and we met up to do a deal in Tower Records.

Fast forward nearly twenty years and we have remained close, helping each other where we can and maintaining a love for streetwear, art and sneakers.

We incorporated a print tote bag, reconstructed a supreme denim jacquard shirt, along with a premium Abraham Moon stripe, with a two-tone navy shot crinkle and a cotton twill repurposed from deadstock cargo pants. Primarily blue, with nods to the city of New York, applied to the Flexi-Bill Cap and the Hangguard mask, it’s one of our favourite and most special editions.

The Atelier WCMF Hangguard Mask 1.1
「懸侍衛口罩1.1」

What’s so special about it? Our mask is a fully reusable and washable face covering that provides protection for us and for others around us. It has an internal pocket that fits a 5 layer PM 2.5 filter which can be replaced (every mask comes with 3 filters).

The Hangguard mask has a removable flexible nose strip for secure fit and silicone ear adjusters too. It also comes with and utilises the signature Paracord strap that means you can hang it around your neck or wear it across your body, so you don’t lose it or put it down on any questionable surfaces.

Based on the popular Korean KF94 design, it has a 3D face structure giving you room to breathe and also when you close it it covers the mouth area.

The Hangguard mask comes in a range of shot crinkle fabrics, as well as all of our editions and can even be made to bespoke requirements on request.

We tried and tested a number of masks and this is the result of deep research and consideration culminating in a comfortable, functional, stylish and practical mask.

在親身測試、深入研究了許多口罩款式後，我們選擇以韓國KF94來進行版型、構造開發設計，經過了反覆打樣測試之後，我們先發推出了這款舒適度、實用性與時尚感三位合一的「懸侍衛口罩1.1」。

1. 具有 3D 面部結構，以提供舒適的呼吸空間，並且在收納時，能關閉覆蓋以防口部區域受到污染。

2. 可重複使用與清洗。

3. 內側口袋專為容納與更換 PM2.5 五層環保布口罩濾芯過濾片而設計（每個口罩都附有 3 個濾片）。PM2.5 五層環保布口罩濾芯過濾片能有效過濾花粉, 塵埃, 霧霾。

4. 可拆卸與更換式的鼻樑條帶設計，確保配戴時的牢固貼合度。（每個口罩都附有 3 個鼻樑條）

5. 耳繩附有矽膠調節扣，方便調整耳繩鬆緊度。

6. 採用我們獨創的帕拉傘繩掛帶設計，方便口罩能掛在脖子上或斜背在身上，以防丟失及輔助穿戴時需快速收納擺放的問題。

P.S 從小成長在有戴口罩文化與習慣的台灣，在英國生活了也快20年，在這段疫情期間我才發現原來對於戴口罩接受度的差異能因國而異這麼多。希望能以更夠好的設計能讓更多人想戴口罩保護自己也保護他人。在最近有不少英國的客人買單後給予讚賞與肯定，我們深信再費時的設計與產品都值得我們用心的開發與呈現。

圖為這款「懸侍衛1.1口罩」採用黑色壓褶尼龍面料，還有虹彩藍、綠、紫三色。這款口罩也適用於我們所有的Edition系列，更可以根據要求特別定制。

The city of London is the inspiration for our “Old Smoke” edition.

This year we have seen at times (a few too many) a dark and grey summer. Like the city itself, the darkness brings about a feeling of deep intensity and contemplation.

With a combination of black an grey fabrics of mixed textures including vintage bandanas, black corduroy and a premium rich grey cotton, the “Old Smoke” edition is available in all of our hats.

Pictured is the Cinch Step Short-Flip Reversible tulip hat with all others available on request.

就如這個城市本身一樣，灰暗帶來了一種深沉度與沈思感。在這一個大多屬灰暗的夏天裡，我想像著優雅的英國紳士與叛逆反骨街頭青年的派對聚會，爲這冷灰的城市注入了無限的創意、活力與美感，此刻的倫敦充滿著嶄新的生命力！

我們嘗試採用黑跟灰混撞色再將經典條紋、格紋融入街頭圖騰元素的方式來呈現這種優雅與叛逆交織的衝突美，包括經典西服襯衫面料、復古佩斯利花紋布巾、黑色燈芯絨、壓皺尼龍和優質灰色棉布等布料。

P.S 西服襯衫面料部份，我們以升級再造的方式來進行選購、清洗再解構二手襯衫的流程方式再加以製作。

One of our principles is to create garments, items and articles that are uniquely yours.

We follow the rule of the “Edition” but the nuances occurs in fabric placement, different fabric textures or patterns, lining fabric choices and anywhere else that we can add unique elements while maintaining the edition fundamentals.

It’s yours and only yours.

The Atelier WCMF Flexi-Bill Cap

Our signature 6-panel cap with a selection of curated fabrics depending on which edition it is.

It has a shorter length bill that is “flexible” so it can be worn down or flipped up to transform the style of it completely.

Adjustable back strap and comes in all editions or bespoke, and matches well with our Hangguard masks.
