Here’s friend of the gallery .calvert with a superb original 1957 US one sheet for Funny Face.

Few films capture the glamour and optimism of 1950s Hollywood quite like this one, and the poster has become just as iconic as the film itself. 🖼️

Audrey Hepburn at her most luminous, Fred Astaire at his most effortless, and a design that still feels fresh nearly seventy years on. One of those posters that never fails to make us smile🎬✨

£20,480 for a Pink Panther poster? 🤯

An identical example of this original 1978 Revenge Of The Pink Panther Advance US One Sheet recently sold at Sotheby’s London for an astonishing £20,480.

Admittedly, that result feels a little crazy.

But it highlights something many people don’t realise: original movie posters were never designed to be collectibles. They were temporary cinema advertising materials, often discarded after a film’s theatrical run.

This advance Style B design is one of the most memorable Pink Panther posters ever produced, featuring the world’s coolest cartoon detective seated like royalty beneath the headline:

“Montezuma got his revenge…”

Today, surviving originals are highly sought after by collectors of comedy, animation, and classic cinema memorabilia.

Would you have guessed this poster could be worth over £20,000?

FRANKENSTEIN (1957 re-release) 🇩🇪

One of the most visually striking horror posters ever produced.

This haunting German poster for James Whale’s legendary FRANKENSTEIN features extraordinary artwork by Bruno Rehak, whose unforgettable rendering of Boris Karloff captures both the menace and sadness of cinema’s most misunderstood Monster.

Nearly a century after its original 1931 release, FRANKENSTEIN remains one of the most influential films ever made — helping to define the visual language of horror through Gothic imagery, German Expressionist influences and shadow-filled cinematography.

Original vintage FRANKENSTEIN posters are now amongst the most sought-after and valuable horror posters in the world, with surviving examples becoming increasingly difficult to find.

Up there with the best of the best! ✈️😎

Top Gun blasted into cinemas exactly 40 years ago today!

Featuring that iconic, sun-drenched imagery of Tom Cruise and Kelly McGillis that defined a generation of blockbusters. It is incredible to see these iconic posters, side by side, 40 years later, looking as sleek and adrenaline-fueled as they did in theatres back in 1986. 🎬✨

Did you know Return of the Jedi was almost called Revenge of the Jedi? 🤯🌌

Today, Liza is showing off one of the most legendary posters in the entire Star Wars hobby! When George Lucas famously changed the film’s title at the last minute (because a Jedi never seeks revenge!), the original promo posters featuring Drew Struzan’s epic artwork became instant collector’s grails.

Here is a bit behind the history of these stunning advance posters and what makes them such a fascinating “what if” in cinema history! ⚔️✨

Two of modern cinema’s greatest directors paying tribute to one of the films that changed cinema forever.

Steven Spielberg & Spike Lee pictured beside an original poster for Vittorio De Sica’s masterpiece Bicycle Thieves.

Released in 1948, BICYCLE THIEVES became one of the defining works of Italian Neorealism — a movement that rejected Hollywood gloss in favour of emotional truth, real locations, and everyday struggle in post-war Italy.

Its influence on generations of filmmakers is immeasurable. Without films like this, modern cinema as we know it may have looked very different.

Original film posters are more than advertising materials… they are surviving artefacts from the history of cinema itself. 🎬

🦇 HOLY GRAIL BATMAN POSTER 🦇

One of the most iconic and sought-after Batman posters ever produced.

Featuring Batman, Robin, Catwoman, The Joker, The Penguin & The Riddler alongside the legendary Batmobile, this explosive British quad perfectly captures the colourful pop-art energy and camp comic-book magic that made the 1960s Batman television series a worldwide phenomenon.

British quads from this era rarely survive in such exceptional condition, especially unfolded / rolled examples with such strong, unfaded colour.

A true centrepiece poster for serious collectors of Batman, superheroes, comic-book culture and 1960s cinema.

“Back by public demand!” 🏎️

Here we have a few different variants for Steve McQueens Bullitt (1968) 🖼️

Among these is a very rare 1970s re-release we have never had before!

Featuring the iconic McQueen lean and the bold orange colours synonymous with the initial release, this is one of our favourite designs from the film! 🎥

Something a little bit different today 🎸🤘

Here’s Ali talking through this framed, fully signed 2014 ‘Never Mind the Bollocks’ record.

Why is this so special? 🤨

It was signed by all the S*x Pistols at the exact same time during their book tour.📚

Following massive public fallouts, Johnny Rotten now outright refuses to sign items that feature his former bandmates’ autographs. 🙅‍♂️

Because of that famous band friction, getting a fully unified signed piece like this today is extremely unlikely! 🔥

A tale of two posters! 🍸🇬🇧

Ali is back talking Bond with a side by side comparison of TWO original UK Quad posters for the 1964 classic, ‘Goldfinger’.

One features a “snipe” which is a printed sticker placed directly onto the poster, as requested by the studio, to change the actor billing after the poster had been printed. The other poster is completely unsniped, showing the initial design Sean Connery wanted changing!
