This took us almost a year! And we couldn’t be more pleased with the product and the very fast feedback from you guys. 💚
The Aran trousers began with a fabric we discovered in our supplier’s archive. We were drawn to its organic texture and the depth of its yarn-dyed colour straight away. It felt special, and its 100% natural fibre content sat closely with our values, so we knew we wanted to bring it into the collection.
Made from a 55/45 blend of h**p and organic cotton, the fabric is yarn-dyed to create a rich, organic colour palette. Its double-weave construction gives it body and structure.
For the design, we introduced a deliberately skewed outer seam to bring subtle movement to the shape, and cropped the length to the ankle to balance the wide leg silhouette. Every detail was carefully considered, with the aim of creating a pair of trousers that feels a little more thoughtful than an everyday casual style.
Our design makes use of both sides of the fabric to create two colourways from one cloth. This allowed for a larger fabric production run, helping to reduce costs and make this premium natural fabric more accessible.
