Will the whole analogue living shift make us more individual? Therefore actually going back to having different styles.

I have to say the idea of this excites me a lot. We can all picture a trendy city girl and we know exactly what she wears. Maybe you are that trendy city girl, but could this step back from the fast paced nature of the digital space mean that we start exploring ways to dress that are a little more unique?

Personally I’m taking the opportunity to ask myself what parts of fashion actually make me happy - what sparks joy or empowerment in me…

Could we actually be seeing the end of the micro trend or is the analogue lifestyle just a trend as well? 🤔

Personally I would love to see Fashion trend slow down, it’s nice that we have new things coming into style however the pace that it has been out for the last 10 years is crushing for designers and their creativity.

But does this take the fun out of it or i it the way forward? #2026

This song reaonates with me and my journey in the last year. Although l’ve always been fortunate enough to have people to call this year l’ve really had to learn to do things on my own.

There are some mountains you have to climo by yourself. For example in November I had to do a trade show by myself and that was super nerve racking, but the biggest thing about it wasn’t the 4 hour car journey, or the setting up, or the Investement it took - it was actually getting over my own anxiety. The voices in my head saying that I didn’t have it in me to do this.

No one else can make you get over that, sure everyone can try to help and it certainly does help to have kind people around but you have to be the one to decide that the pain of it or the discomfort is worth it to have a shot at what you want to achieve.

I hope this year we all get more comfortable and confident at taking a shot on ourselves, betting on ourselves.

If you’re going through something similar, doesn’t need to be work related I encourage you.

It’s not always straightforward to dress within your style, especially if you’re looking to do it sustainably. 💚 I have found myself not engaging in Fashion as much due to wanting to just use what I have - however, as someone who works in Fashion and as someone who finds a lot of joy and expressing myself through Fashion, I want to take the opportunity to go on this journey.

I thought this might be relatable to some other people too, so I wanted to share this. Also i love hearing about other people’s style journeys so i wanted to open that conversation.
