PLEASE READ
We received a report today directly from a meeting of health visiting leaders that staff are witnesing more babies wearing face coverings.

We understand that families may be anxious about being out in public places or travelling on public transport. Advice about facecoverings for older children and adults does NOT apply to those under 5 years of age.

It is DANGEROUS for babies and toddlers to have their faces covered. There is a suffocation risk when their small airways are covered.

PLEASE DON'T use face coverings on your baby or toddler.

My son Ben is 14 and he has severe autism, he's non-verbal and has very limited understanding. Since the age of 2 he has drunk exclusively from a little blue Tommee Tippee two handled cup (Pictured below).

Fortunately about 3 years ago we managed to replace this very old and disintegrating cup with a newer one - cup part first, lid a few weeks later. He was suspicious but we survived.

But now its time for another replacement and we can't replace his old cup with a glass as he simply won't drink out of it! Ben hasn't drunk at school since the age of 5; he doesn't drink outside of the house so we can't go anywhere. People say he will drink when he's thirsty, but two emergency trips to the A&E with severe dehydration say otherwise.

These cups are not made anymore, the replacements are all new and fancy. We've tried them and Ben throws them at us. Maybe you have one stuck at the back of your cupboard? The one he has right now doesn't have long left. In all honesty we are really worried what will happen if it falls apart completely. Can you help us?

Please share this far and wide, you can find me on Twitter . We will happily pay for the cup and postage, and we would love more than one if we can find them. Thank you!

Can anyone help this adoptive Dad?

Can anyone help this adoptive Dad?

Ottokar was born at the end of October to a wonderful surrogate in California and has made me a proud single gay dad. He was a term baby but had a rough start and only just survived. He spent the first 10 days of his life in NICU, of which I wasn’t even allowed to touch him for the first 3 days. We are making up for lost time now. While here in California he is getting breastmilk which the surrogate pumps but shipping to London isn’t feasible so he will need to move to formula when we get back next week. As he had such a rough start, I’d particular love for him to have the best nutrition possible. If there is anyone who has spare milk in or around London (I have a car and can collect) or a freezer stash a little further away. Ottokar would be immensely grateful! Thank you!
