CHELACHE Contemporary knitted fashion accessories and gifts for men and women, inspired by modern art.

We make scarves, gloves, handwarmers, hats, ties and more by hand in our London studio. My Irish grandmother taught me how to knit when I was small and I’ll always look up to her as a master knitter. The Aran jumpers and cardigans she knitted for the entire family formed a textural backdrop to my childhood. I’ve since gained a degree in constructed textiles where I further explored and expanded on

my love for knitting, but it all began with Nanny Smith. Having worked in the fashion industry for many years I decided to go it alone and dedicate my time and energy to all things knitted. I currently work from a small studio near London Fields in Hackney; I like to think of it as a knitwear laboratory as a lot of experimenting goes on there. I mainly utilise my beautiful vintage hand operated knitting machines, but you will also find me hand knitting with tiny tiny needles on the number 38 bus.

The magnificent doors at One Marylebone open for TODAY from midday until 8 pm - and we cannot wait to welcome you!

With over 120 of the best crafts makers and artists selling their new collections and one-off pieces, it will be a gift-buying extravaganza.

You'll find stunning jewellery, homeware, ceramics, textiles, furniture, lighting and design, over four floors of this stunning Sir John Soane-designed building, opposite Great Portland Street tube station.

Make it a whole day out with family or friends, and take a break in our on-site Made Café. They'll be serving tea & coffee, beer, wine & soft drinks, delicious sandwiches, salads & cakes.
