Kerrie Owens Arts I am a Jewellery designer and a Jack of all trades creative. I welcome you to my polychromatic rainbow world and now enjoy watching the evolution.

I specialize in hand carved stone Jewellery based on New Zealand Māori design but the one difference is I am a female carver living in England. To fill the world with art and colour, to bring employment to talented underestimated people, to create a collective to bring new skills to a new generation, that is the aim of Totally Polychromatic. Today was spent decorating the space I will be in for the weekend with Medway Open Studios & Arts Festival. The stock gets sorted out in the morning. But nucleus is already taking advantage of it with one of the office dogs Jack. Isn’t her a cutie! This was also aided with work experience student Max, learning some of what it takes to work in the arts.

Next up after open studios for me is Medway Fringe festival. I have been commissioned to make the trophies for its first year, using recycled materials from around the Nucleus site. So far I’ve found old roof tiles and I’ve got plenty of wood in the studio to also work with. I will be jumping starting on that next week.

Medway Open Studios Map location 29! Every Saturday and Sunday 11am-4pmand a special open evening Thursday 16th 4-8pm. For the first time C-Block will be outside in the sunshine! We decided to experiment with a slight change in location. My self and Catherine OathamArt will be on the staff decking outside the meeting point and we will be joined by 𝗡𝗔𝗦𝗧𝗬 𝗚𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗬 on the 5th. We will also be running the free drop in session of Lego and Art club carnival special on the 4th. Oh year carnival day is on our first day of opening! It's gunna be a lot of fun! And you guys don't have to tackle the three flights of stairs to see us this year. We look forward to seeing you.
