Instead of moving from a long term home where their children grew up our client appointed us to reimagine their cramped out of date 1930’s home into a dream forever home.

The Grove Extension.

All openings are now formed in the cascading facade. There is a real sense of layer and depth to the facade. This will be heightened further by the light brickwork to the forefront and dark stained timber shingle cladding to the background. It should make a great photo when complete.

The Grove Extension

Progress on site sees the formation of our large skylight aperture, internal facing brickwork and tv recess. Once the final elements of the veneered oak panelling, forming our internal datum line, tv box and glass are installed, there should be a real harmony of material, light and space.
