Welcome to Linen Lawn, we’re now 3 years old as a company and a lot has happened in that time. You can now find us in the premier London store LIBERTY, this is the second season you will be able to see the Linen Lawn collection there and we hope that many of you will make your purchase there or if not with us online. If you have been following the story so far Linen Lawn started in 2009 when found

er and designer Margaret Appleby used her creative and technical skills to create a capsule collection of womenswear that had a nostalgic and feminine edge. Always a passionate lover of Liberty Prints Margaret has used them exclusively in each Linen Lawn collection. Linen Lawn is fast becoming something of a shirt specialist, it’s something we do well or so we have been told. Another passion is Made in England, where possible this is our aim, because you know as we do that it is best when we support local indigenous businesses who have decades of skills that none of us would wish to see lost. Follow the “Save our Skills” initiative at Drapers Record online to learn more about the crisis in our clothing industry and how we are doing what we can here in the U.K. to reverse the trend of decline in British Manufacture. I hope you will agree this is a worthwhile cause that affects everyone across industry in Britain today. A word about the current content, we have continued with some styles and added new ones for 2012 (which is what you would have expected of course), we hope you enjoy shopping with Linen Lawn this season.
