Excited to share our article on the importance of research collaborations and partnerships with the Shirati KMT Hospital in rural Tanzania in the latest edition of the MTb journal on Global Health Research. The Shirati KMT Hospital is preparing for a possible COVID-19 outbreak. So far 46 cases have been confirmed in Tanzania, no cases in Shirati yet.
But the health care professionals are taking measures: visitors for patients a limited to one visitor each, every person entering the gates has to wash their hands with water and soap or sanitizer, every health care provider with cough/sneezing has to put on a mask to protect others, trying to avoid overcrowding by keeping at least 1m distance from each other.

These are exceptional times also for our cooks. But until now, they are still coming in every single day to prepare food for the patients who need it the most!

CHAKULA UPONYA! What a wonderful phrase! WE are WEally WEally excited to be working together with the The WE Festival here in Maastricht! WE have a stall set up in the Big Hall right next to the door where WE shall be selling our wares and spreading chakula uponya vibes all week. Come and say hello!
