British Bangladeshi Fashion Council www.BBFashionCouncil.com BBFC is a social enterprise and not for profit company set up to deliver training, work experience and networking opportunities.

We offer a range of other developmental programmes and events related to fashion for British Bangladeshis including our flagship event, Bangladesh Fashion Week London which will be hosted on Saturday 1st October 2016 at East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf. We want to celebrate and promote Bengali fashion, designers, culture and the arts whilst championing the relationship between the UK and Bangladesh

, using fashion as a conduit. We will showcase the vibrant and colourful talent of designers that are influenced and/or share a Bangladeshi heritage. With this we hope to open up employment and business opportunities in the multi billion pound British fashion industry as well as the world’s second largest Ready Made Garment sector of Bangladesh. From New York to Paris, Milan to Dhaka, BBFC will paint a new face for Bangladesh to the watching world.

We are beyond thrilled to announce that the British Bangladeshi Fashion Council has been honoured with the East London Community Heroes Award for Outstanding Initiative in Women Empowerment!

This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering dedication of our amazing BBFC team, the support of our incredible community, and our invaluable partnership with Streets of Growth.
