BANF Mobility: MOVE IT OR LOSE IT
1. Cat Cow (60-90s)
- Target: Spine
- Focus on segmenting the spine, think Mexican wave through the back rather than straight up/down
2. Hip CARS (10 Left & 10 Right)
- Target (Hips 😅)
- Try and rotate the thigh through as much range as possible
- Isolating only the hip joint (imagine keeping a full mug of coffee resting on your lower back)
3. Worlds Greatest Stretch (12 Left & 12 Right)
- Target (Hip Flexor, Hamstring, Quads, Spine) it really is the don, hence the name
- Sink the same side elbow to the floor near the inside of the foot, look at your hand as it rotates up to get a big mid back rotation
4. Pigeon Stretch (90s Left & 90s Right)
- Target: Glutes
- From plank, bring one knee up in between the hands. Aim to get your front leg to 90 degrees at the knee, resting on the front of the thigh of a fully extended back leg
5. Adductor Rock (10 Left & 10 Right)
- Target: Adductor/inner thigh
- Rock back on one knee and one foot with leg kicked out to the side
6. Downward Dog Backbend (10 Reps)
- Target Chest/Shoulders/Spine
- Spend a few secs in each end position
7. Hamstring Sweep (45-60s)
- Target: Hamstring & Low Back
- Reach down towards one foot with both hands and make as big as a circle as you can
