ANA by KARMA spreads happiness from Bhutan to the world one scarf at a time. We empower Bhutanese women weavers to become financially independent by utilising their creativity and talent in making handwoven scarves. There is an Ana Trust Fund for these women's medical needs and for their children's further education, continuous learning programs to teach these women business skills and financial literacy.

Our challenge at ANA is when we sell plain coloured scarves and shawls. The real colours are hard to replicate on screens and mobiles - even when we use professional photography. And then we found that even our right and left brain sees colours differently. This shoe is grey to some and pink to others! Don’t believe? Go ask 10 people around you.
