Stocking fillers! I use organic lavender which has a wonderful long lasting fragrance, I’ve got loads of wonderful new prints but how fab is this fuchsia Mary Quant like flower print? lavender bags have a velvet loop so you can hang them in your wardrobe or keep them in your drawer. They come in these cute gift boxes ready to give as a present. I’ve used my new stamp logo, designed for me by the very patient and talented local artist and illustrator . thank you Ellie 😘 Next up are some fabric pocket mirrors which come in their own little pouch to keep it safe in your handbag/ cosmetic bag. Really excited to be taking part at the Branching Out Christmas Fair this Thursday 18th November from 6pm onwards it’s at 149 Croydon Road, Beckenham BR3 3QH. Pop down have some mulled wine and a mince pie and support local handmade business ❤️ I’ve had a creative burst thanks a delivery of my favourite fabric by who will also have a stall at the fair selling artwork , cards and beautiful tote bags. I’ll be selling these ( am I allowed to boast about how lovely I think they are 🤓) padded cosmetic bags with contrasting lining and handle, finished off with fabric tassel and cute matching fabric mirror. Can you spot my new logo? Created for me by the very talented young artist and florist in training . Fab flannels anyone? One thing this year of lockdowns and feeling like I’m wading through treacle has taught me is to find small joys in little things... I love fabric, a new delivery for me brings me as much happiness as a socially distanced walk with a lovely friend. That’s why I sew and starting my day with a cheerful pattern on my make up bag, beautiful fabric on my reusable face wipes and showering with a fabulous print on my flannel genuinely cheers my spirits, just like the sun on my face today with some fab company 🌞❤️ I’ll take some more photos and add these to the website tomorrow. They have gorgeous designer fabric on one side with a contrasting fabric loop so you can hang up your flannel, they are backed with super soft organic bamboo towelling with concealed seams and over stitched for a lovely finish. 23cm square they will range between £7 and £8 depending on the fabric x

More lovely make up bags to add some spring florals to your bathroom and dressing table. Beautiful fabrics make me happy and these bags are a perfect treat for yourself, gift for a friend or put it on your Mother’s Day wish list! The first image is a Liberty print teal floral called Ciara which I’ve teamed with a mixed pink stripe fabric, topped off with a blue and orange chunky zip and fabric tassel. The next 3 make up bags are all made using my favourite fabric designer Sally Kelly, who also designed Tresco Liberty fabric featured in my last post. The second image is a stunning blue jungle like floral print lined with a zesty green and lime fabric, green and yellow zip and contrasting fabric tassel. The third image is a super zingy yellow Alice in Wonderland like floral, teamed with fresh grass green dotty lining, yellow and pink zip and fabric tassel. The last image is a dusky pink and navy Camelia print with matching pink stripe lining, pink and blue zip and fabric tassel. The bags have flat bases, and have been reinforced with interfacing for a luxury finish. Anyone else dreaming about Spring? All I can say is thank goodness January is over... I had all these grand productive plans for the new year and instead the month was wiped out by Covid and all motivation and creativity went with it. Luckily a wonderful delivery of Tresco Liberty print fabric designed by my super talented friend when she was an in house designer at Liberty, has got me excited about sewing again. I’ve loved making these Tresco print make up bags, they have flat bases, stiff interfacing, lined with a contrasting fabric from Sally Kelly’s new range of fabrics, colourful zip and handmade fabric tassel. I’d be very happy if someone got me one of these for Mother’s Day 😜 so thought you might too! They are on the website and cost £20, dimensions are 23cm wide, 15 cm tall and the base is 10cm. Huge THANK YOU for all your amazing support this year. Your kindness in your messages and wonderful feedback, your word of mouth recommendations and spreading the word in person or on social media has been fantastic and so very very appreciated. Thank you for putting your trust in my little business and I hope everyone loves their Christmas face covers, face wipe sets and hair accessories, I’d love to see pictures of where they’ve ended up from Beckenham to France and Peru! Sewing during this pandemic has given me a focus and helped me to try not to lose my mind! So for that I’m truly grateful x I wish you all a wonderful Christmas with supportive calls/ zooms to loved ones. I’m not sure 2021 will be the light we need on the horizon but we will get through it because we are a community . Zelda x

Even laterl in the day but This is the very last of this gold dust Liberty print Christmas fabric... the first is this beautiful amazingly detailed white Christmas print with animal, trees, fairy lights, mince pies, presents, baubles!, snow globes, the second is a white version of the beautiful baubles and presents print.They are one off Christmas gifts sets and include an Irish linen scrub bag to keep your face mask clean before use and protect it in the washing machine. The Liberty print face cover is 3 layered , the middle layer is densely woven 160gms Okeo Tex fabric ( chemical free) and the lining next to your face is a super soft organic bamboo silk. The face covers have comfortable round elastic and adjustable toggles for an individual fit. You also get a matching lavender bag to scent your mask, a matching hair tie and some matching Liberty print stainless steel button earrings! I don’t have any more of this fabric so they really are one offs, if you’d like one DM me before I list them tomorrow. Price is £25 and includes gift wrap and local delivery to Beckenham areas or £3 P&P

New luxury face wipe set added to the website in Lynx print lined with hot fuschia floral fabric! I was asked to make a Lynx print and grey (later images) set for a lovely lady who will be taking it out as a gift for her sister in Peru, when the fuschia fabric asked to be made into a set with the Lynx fabric 😉 I know how you are all rather fond of a leopard 🐆🐆 . Just a reminder all face wipe sets and face covers come with a matching hair tie, free gift wrapping and personalised tags too! I’m going to do my last post drop for next week on Wednesday the 16th Dec as I’m taking a break 17-20 to get some Norfolk sea air! After that I’ll be open for local deliveries to Beckenham, Crystal P, Bromley, Dulwich but I won’t be able to guarantee posted parcels for Xmas.
