Summer Linen.

With colours inspired by the wild flowers of the English countryside, our layering gilets this season are constructed from a fine linen cotton, lightly quilted for robustness, and cropped to allow for movement.

A soft cotton lining gives comfort to the skin in the warmer months, and two front patch pockets for functionality on a summers eve walk.

Our Linen Cropped Cocoon Thornham is available in Light Blue and White.

Made in Suffolk, England.

Unwadded Thornham

Who says quilting is only for the cold?

We’ve been making our Unwadded Thornham for a few years now, but this spring we have given it an upgrade. Made from our signature Lavenster recycled polyester, the gilet is now lined with a fine mesh fabric and features an inside chest pocket, the perfect size for carrying a phone or a passport.

We designed this one primarily for travel and being out and about during the summer months. It has all the benefits of a regular gilet - extra pockets, folds away compactly - but is much lighter weight.

Available for men and women in several versatile colours.

We are proud to announce the opening of the latest Lavenham Shop in Tokyo.

Lavenham Marunouchi is located in the Shinmaru Building connected to Tokyo station. Come and say hello, learn more about the brand and try on the latest pieces.

The Marunouchi district sits between the Imperial Palace and Tokyo station. Once primarily a business district, the area ha evolved into one of the city’s most attractive areas for exploring - well worth a visit if you’re in town.

Created in Suffolk, England in the early 1970’s, it was the very first garment we made - shortly after developing the world’s first nylon quilted horse rug.

Originally designed for riding and stable work, it kept the body warm while allowing complete freedom of movement.

Before long, its practicality, durability and understated style carried it beyond the yard and into everyday wardrobes.

Today, we still make our gilets in Suffolk, England, holiday to the same standards of craftsmanship and quality.
