Thank you festival 2026 and for inviting to exhibit Strawberry Nemesis.

The whole festival and location was amazing. Our apologies if Nemesis was considered in any way to be responsible for triggering the house alarms on Saturday night. We heard that the local police were startled when entering this dark room in search of intruders.

Strawberry Nemesis is not yet fitted with artificial intelligence or sweeteners, so is fundamental inert. We cannot vouch for Nemesis activities in cases of spirit attachment or paranormal parasitisms resulting within phantasmal or purgatorial sites, demonic lairs, hexed, spectral or nether realms (or regions).

We are therefore unable to contribute to the police officers dry cleaning bills, please refer to Nemesis terms and conditions.

A double-fronted art book featuring self-edited stories and artworks from two artist-led labels rooted in UK BMX and skate culture since the mid-1980s. Both DIY label projects first gained exposure through the seminal publication R.A.D., where Nick served as the original magazine designer and Ged contributed as a writer and illustrator.

The Anarchic and Insane clothing labels were further amplified through features in i-D and The Face, before reaching Japanese fashion counter-culture via Hiroshi Fujiwara’s HFA magazine columns at the turn of the 1990s.

The book also offers a detailed exploration of the relatively untold story of DIY independent labels that emerged from UK skateboarding and music counter-culture in the 1990s, tracing their evolution and connections to brands that later became known as streetwear in the late 1990s.

In addition, it includes several interview conversations with key figures in Japan, providing insight into the development of Japanese streetwear, including a discussion with Sk8thing and Toby Feltwell of Cav Empt.
