90’s closing party in Camden featuring our parachute collection of recycled silks with modern cuts and the original sleeping bag jacket a fitted longline ski 🎿 jacket created as an eco alternative to a puffa jacket., perfect for clubbing late night sessions on the dance floor at warehouse parties this collection was from post consumer waste recycled sleeping bags collected for me by the Salvation Army and Kettering textiles .. reminded of this by a conversation with this evening at the launch of his show prior to his Paris Fashion Week show next week 21-23 so good to see this legacy evolving into tagged clothing and reworking dead stock post consumer and reworking the narrative saving it from landfill it’s amazing all the cool streetwear out there that’s twisting the take from obsolete to super uber cool 👌🏼 stuff love to see it happening again

In the identity issue of i-D magazine, which was based in the Time Out offices on Curtain Road Londoner the time, with editor Beth Summers who I had met at my fashion show at Heaven nightclub! it was when Alex was working at Vogue at the time creating Road Magazine with photographers Dave Sims, Glenn Luchford and art director Dave James, we were asked to be part of the identity issue, for young London’ers , I was interning with PR Unlimited and at Options and Good Housekeeping magazine and building my fashion brand Conscious Earthwear and writing for encyclopaedia psychedelia part time, we didn’t want to be photographed on the street so asked to go to the nearest bit of green? We headed over the road to Hoxton Square for this picture it turned into a double page spread we couldn’t believe it! Expecting just a small picture but it was a moment in time.. looking for the green spaces.. I still believe the same things I said then in that moment! 90’s DIY culture .. love, peace and a green future and me -Dmagazine culture -D

As COP30 brings global attention to the Amazon, we stand with Indigenous Peoples and all those protecting the world’s most vital forests and cultures.

✨ The Pledge:
Declare Indigenous lands in the Amazon free from extraction.
Stand with Indigenous Peoples and allies calling for the Amazon to be free of oil, gas, mining and all extraction.
Call on Amazonian governments to protect the forest, Indigenous sovereignty, climate justice, and the rights of all living beings.

If this speaks to you, please consider signing the Pledge and sharing it forward. Link in bio at Linktree 🌱

Did you know Equador was the first country in the world to enshrine the rights of nature into the constitution in 2008, the rest of the world is now catching up and the rights of Nature to exist not as a resource to plunder but as a place to respect .. finally we are evolving to respect the land the water the animals as the First Nation peoples have been asking us to do for so long.. deeply humbled by this and hopeful for COP30 to create a better outcome than previously

More from the OG Conscious Earthwear Archive this was made from recycled dead stock t-shirts from my first job as a designer a super cool cotton jersey wear company based in the South of France in the midi not far from Montpelier and the Camargue. It was a super fun time, our offices were in Newman Street just across the main road (Oxford Street), from Soho Square. We had Models One on the corner of our street , the premier model agency along with a media company publisher who I had worked with as a stylist folloeing an internship with . I was so lucky to have worked with her before she went to head up . It was a special time .. I got to work with behind the scenes prepping for shoots for it was a real revelation no digital cameras! We had Polaroids for testing and light metres no technology .. I loved it!

This collection was from the Sun and Sand archive of gorgeous brightly coloured tees which I cut up to make rainbow striped shirts and took them to see the magazines stores off Carnaby Street Magazine House .. this was shot for there was also and the career girl magazine company in the same building .. it was a hive of activity and super fun times grateful for that time .. so many brilliant creative people ideas and stories .. we went on to have what’s now called a just off Carnaby Street and one of our first customers was Icelandic Indie Queen Bjork from the Sugarcubes! It was a fun time and the recession meant we had to make our own path which lead to so much creativity!

Full circle moments 🌍💫
Loved reconnecting with the story behind our original Conscious Earthwear logo — a 90s design rooted in nature, consciousness, and creativity — now finding new resonance through the brilliant crew at .
Grateful for the openness, respect, and shared spirit of collaboration that keeps these ideas alive in new forms. 🌿

OG Design by
Regenerated by fir the next generation of music artists unable to share the music here so added a favourite of mine from that time big influence on us at the time and the design work was influenced by the emerging cosmic consciousness of the new age rave music that opened up to us all to find harmony togetherness across all creeds colours and cultures
