s of subcultures brought in by tourists from the west, especially skateboarding and punk rock. It was simply forms of counterculture of outcasts misunderstood by the masses. It was a way of life that would ultimately define Tshering’s perspective. After years being involved in his family’s business which is the production and distribution of trekking & hiking gears, Tshering found the necessity to launch his own line. Besides taking the cue from timeless vintage design and appreciation for fine & functional modern detail, ANABASIS apparel is inspired by the spirit of independent music and skateboard company apparel of the 1990s

Though much has changed since the 90s, Tshering holds on to the same core beliefs that drove him since day one. He sees skateboarding as more than just another ‘hobby’ or ‘sport’, it is a way of life. It is a lifestyle that he feels bring together a vast assortment of similar countercultures: from artists, to musicians, to filmmakers, to any creative like-minded individuals to a world free of prejudice or restriction.
