The vest is coloured with pomegranate skin and the pants are made from recycled cotton with zari and dyed in iron to give the deep black hue. The vest is adjustable along the side seams to suit changing body measurements and can be worn as a layer too.

Planning colours and discussing recipies of dyes to create the perfect shade for each textile and style. It is amazing how differently colours take to different fibres. The brilliance of silks is never achieved on cottons.
Consistency of hue can be the biggest challenge when working with plant dyes. It is a skill we pride ourselves with because we tirelessly experiment and repeat dye in batches to ensure the recipe holds true.
