Farewell David Hockney - The Master of Yorkshire.

I can remember being taught to imitate your water technique via batik at secondary school, and being introduced to vivid colour ranges which still reflects in my work today. Plus you loved a Morris Minor, which is also my dream car.

A big sloppy kiss to everyone who came, brought and supported myself and the conclave of creatives yesterday at the Walthamstow handmade market! As always, it means the absolute world 🌍
It was so good to be back out a-marketing and has left me enthused and inspired to get back to the sewing machine this week! Which is just as well, as it looks like the weather has officially turned. Ugh.

Yes the rumours are true…it’s MARKET TIME BABY! 🌸

It is so good to be out and about again, and to dust off the Hickey walk of fame star garland. I will be at the Big Penny Social in Walthamstow from 11-4pm selling my wares, so if you fancy a shop followed by a Sunday pint, you know where to come!

It’s Friday prep day ahead of the Walthamstow Craft and Flea this Sunday at 👜

Today is all about replanning my stall to a smaller scale, so that I have a game plan when I arrive on Sunday morning (preparation really is key folks, especially on a tight time frame!). I will also be working on some passport holders this afternoon to ensure my stock is up to optimum level 👌
