A look at architect Kazumasa Yamash*ta’s unique Face House in Kyoto, Japan.

Built in 1974, the house was built to serve as a residence and studio space. Each part of the facade is designed to mimic functions of an actual face; the windows act as the eyes, and if you peep inside the nostrils, you’ll find air vents that serve as ventilation ports.
