I know everyone are busy but if you could quickly explain why you don’t want that fan aimed directly towards the baby, that’d be grand.

I’m a Kiwi mum in the UK with a clothing & textile science degree so I have my theory- but no one wants to hear it from me and I don’t want to confuse anyone (or look stupid) if there’s more to it.

As babies develop the ability to thermoregulate in the first year, their clothing is so important for their comfort and even their safety.

Merino wool naturally keeps baby cooler or warmer, working with their body to actively manage their body temperature for them. Scientists have been proving this since the 1850s!

Parents around the world seem to know it, especially in New Zealand where the merino breed of sheep thrive. But the UK is still catching up... or are they?!
