the original sin by reg mombassa❗️ the singlar hen is of course less rare but suddenly becomes violent in isolation. sourced & made in usa late 80s. interestingly the back hit is rotated compared to other examples i’ve seen. now i need a paddle-pod.

come 1989, post-natives, there was only caballero signature‼️ less rubber, more panelling, more personality. initially with black rubber scenery, padded tongues, contrast crocodile leather, & steve’s personal dragon design. developed by steve & bunny caminiti, they was inspired by jordan ones. what’s under appreciated is just how high & beefy the originals were. a mythical beast which made vert & street feats through to 1992, thus more impressive! who flew the dragons & who slayed them come 1993⁉️ ✂️ 🐉

apologies for the lapse. im finally back to business following my travels, with these early 90s native lanyard wallets. the madrid fly pouch is a keeper as is the the blue which was a gift from skrova_hanare, but the burgundy is up for grabs! dm with interest. my research indicates these may have been usa-made for the japanese market. anybody stateside recall these? pander to the natives

i managed to source another tongue-in-cheek lace-back cap from mid 90s. young japanese kid who stumbled upon shop after moving across the street just swooped however. i wish i could stumble upon my own shop unknowingly in an alternate universe. word of mouth, speaking in tongues but it don’t snap back!
