What a day!

Yesterday I took my sister with me to Source Fashion in London to learn about sustainability, manufacturing and everything in between.

We got to listen to debates from the industries professional about fabric sourcing, exporting and even how AI is impacting the fashion industry.

As a newbie, the event was such a great chance to get a bit of insight and it’s definitely inspired me for Sleep Roxx. I have always planned to keep sustainability an important part of the brand but now I have a clearly view of how I can achieve that!

I’ll be sharing lots of what we got up to in the coming days 🫶🏻🖤

Where are the sustainable alternative pyjamas? And what makes them 'sustainable'?

This week I'm attending London's Source Fashion event to get the answers and hopefully get a better understanding of the industry. I'll have the opportunity to meet manufacturers from all over the globe and pick the brains of professionals so that I can make sure our sleepwear ticks all the boxes 🤘🏻🌱

I have found so many cool things on Vinted recently but I still end up in a black baggy top and jeans.

I suppose it’s a comfort thing. And probably a confidence thing.

After all, comfort is super important when you’re chasing around after a sonic fast toddler all day 😅🖤

I can't believe I get to show you this…

First look at the pyjama samples I've been eagerly waiting for 🫣
Nothing screams pop punk/ elder emo like a tight checkered pattern so of course this had to be one of my first designs.
I’m aware checkered print is nothing revolutionary, but finding good quality and sustainable pyjamas in this style is near impossible in the UK.
I'm determined to make that happen

SOME of the things I’ve learnt so far since announcing Sleep Roxx 🌙

As a mum who lost all confidence and has always had a warped self body image, I feel it’s important it is to have sleepwear that’s comfortable and baggy and that’s not constantly having to be adjusted because of insecurities, like loose skin.
There’s so much more you wonderful lot have been suggesting and I’ve been listening 👂
Alternative sleepwear that is comfy, good quality and f**king cool is coming, and I’m gunna make it happen 🤘🏻

Where are the Alt pyjamas???

We should be able to find sleepwear that reflect our style, love for music and coziness without sacrificing hours scrolling or having to purchase do quality and fast fashion.

Well I was fed up of not finding any wo Honestly, that’s why I’m creating Sleep Roxx.
I’m BORED of my pyjamas being boring, not feeling like my style or only lasting a few months before they start looking 💩
