It is a jammed packed schedule of repairs, re-wears, sustainability and more. We've got an amazing Sashiko / Visible Mending class next week, and there are still a few spaces left. Up in strabane today doing the Halloween swap shop, where you can drop off your bags of old Halloween costumes you have lying in the attic & swap them for others we have out on rails, this saves a mountain of old Halloween costumes that go into landfill each year, re-use & repair, I’ll be repairing any ripped or torn outfits so they can be re-purposed, if a cape is too long, I can take up the hem, , we will be in the next Saturday 19th October for another swap , so get your old costumes out & then pic put new ones on the day & it won’t cost you a penny , get the entire family new re-used costumes

Up on the Hill in east Belfast Stormont Parliment Buildings NIRN - Northern Ireland Resources Network Northern Ireland Executive Derry City & Strabane District Council Repair & Share Foyle Repair & Share Foyle on the impact on the amount of waste how we hardly re-use anything, where we live in a linear economy, where we take from nature, make something & dispose of it, the ideal world we would have a circular economy where we after dispose of it, we can not think of it of a waste product, but a brilliant resource to make it into something else, reduce & reduction, this is what I do with using my leathercraft small remnant scraps of leather, I turn them into a new product, a purse, a bag, a pair of leather earrings etc;
