Saddened to hear of the passing of David McIntyre, former owner of DC Menswear.
David was a huge part of the business for so many years. He opened the shop himself on Foyle Street in the 1970s before moving it to Carlisle Road, where we have remained ever since.
I had the privilege of getting my start here while at university and worked for, and alongside, David until his retirement in 2014. I will remember him with fondness, respect and gratitude.
Our thoughts are with Angela, Paula, Ruth and young Angela, along with all his friends and the countless customers, past and present, who knew him.
Rest in peace, David.
