Carole and her daughter Joanne came to the showroom in April, looking for green velvet for Joanne's wedding dress. The dress was made by mum Carole. Hasn't she done well !! Carole's review follows. Looking for green velvet for a wedding dress with a difference. We were so glad we discovered 'Harrington Fabric and Lace'. Margaret provided us with several different choices. My daughter, Joanne, fell in love with a dark green/red crushed velvet. The red showed through subtely, in different lighting. Having been shown the pattern, Margaret helped with a contrasting brocade, which complemented the velvet. In addition, she made suggestions ( which we used) about using the same material as contrast binding. There was enough material to recreate a ribbon lacing back. Thank you so much for your help.
