Taken on a few new readers and followers in recent weeks - thanks and welcome.
For new readers, this is not so much a day-to-day diary of costuming folk (usually) as an occasional outburst of observations and opinions on events with a costuming angle.
Early July takes on a Red White Blue hue as a couple of countries celebrate their national day (The England team are also involved elsewhere).
One of these countries hits the big 250, but unfortunately the event has been overshadowed by someone who wanted to put his own personal stamp/banknote/passport on the occasion. (he'd ignored the fact that in order to be on a banknote you had to be deceased).
