🌿 Welcome to Springside Ceramics 🌿
Hello, I’m Sue, and I’d love to tell you a little about the heart behind Springside Ceramics.
This isn’t just somewhere to paint pottery or create with clay !
It’s a place to slow down.
Life can be busy, noisy and overwhelming at times. My dream is to create a warm, welcoming space where you can switch off for a couple of hours, enjoy a cuppa we also own The Alvingham Coffee Roasters so we can guarantee an excellent coffee and some delicious homemade cakes .So get creative and simply breathe.
You don’t need to be artistic. You don’t even need to have picked up a paintbrush before! We have stencils, sponges and lots of simple techniques to help you create something you’ll be proud of. The joy is in the process, not perfection.
Before running Springside Ceramics, I spent many years working in therapeutic roles, so I understand just how valuable a little “me time” can be. Creativity has a wonderful way of calming busy minds, lifting spirits and helping us reconnect with ourselves.
Our Bisque Barn sits alongside our quirky little home bar so while we occasionally welcome family celebrations and private parties, our regular sessions are designed mainly with adults in mind, creating a peaceful, relaxed atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
Don’t be surprised if a few of our free-range chickens wander past the windows, one of our friendly cats comes to say hello, or our gentle disables Chihuahua Sharday pops in to supervise. She’s an excellent listener and never interrupts! 🐓🐈🐕
Whether you come on your own, with a friend, or as part of a small group, you’ll always receive a warm welcome.
Come and leave the outside world at the gate for a little while.
