🚨 **URGENT APPEAL FROM LEAGUE HQ** 🚨 Ok, maybe not urgent!

We have a situation.

A rather large number of buttons have found themselves WITHOUT A HOME. 🥺

All colours. All shapes. All sizes.
Some sensible. Some slightly questionable. All hoping someone will give them a second chance. ❤️

So we've officially opened...

For just £5, you can fill one of our stripey bags with as many buttons as you can squeeze in.

What will you do with them?

Sew them onto something? Make something fabulous? Add them to your own enormous collection of buttons that you definitely don't need but can't possibly throw away? UNLIMITED BUTTON POSSIBILITIES😂

We're not here to judge! Come and give a few a loving home. Please. They're starting to get attached to us. 😂❤️

Right guys, I had a little play this morning on a newbie that I’m thinking of bringing out for Christmas. 🎄

Yes I know I’ve said it but i need your help as I don’t want to cut, sew and waste anymore fabric (my favourite stash of wool and velvet) if you think they are naff and no one will buy them.

Also you know from previous makes I just have to go bigger 🤦‍♀️ it’s just a bad habit I have of trying to push things to the absolute extreme so there will be a much bigger version of this beauty 👇🏼 well I think they are bloody scrumptious but the most important question is do you agree with me?

Would you possibly ditch the fairy on top of the tree for one of these? If so great if not would you buy them for the fireplace? Oooh what about tiebacks 😍 or where else would you display these bootiful bows? Or just say Stacey ✋ 🛑 and step away!

I’ll be happy to keep all 5 that I’ve made so far. 🤣

You might recognise some of these fabrics... 👀

Because before they became Stacey's key fobs, you may have seen them wandering around Made as Bobe dungarees, trousers, dresses or tops. 😂

One of the lovely little things that happens behind the scenes at League HQ is that Nicky saves Bobe's smaller fabric offcuts and passes them over to Stacey with essentially one instruction:
“Can you do anything with these?”

And Stacey usually can. 😂

This week's answer?
KEY FOBS. ❤️

Little pieces that weren't big enough to become another item of clothing get a completely new life instead of ending up in the bin.

So if one of these fabrics looks strangely familiar, you probably HAVE seen it before. It was just considerably bigger last time. 😂♻️

Well...this is a slightly strange post to write. ❤️

After 12 years of Bobe, I've made the decision that it's time to start bringing my little business to a close.

It's not happening overnight, and Bobe isn't disappearing just yet, but I've stopped buying new fabrics and I'm no longer taking orders.

As far as the clothes currently at Made at No.16 are concerned, what's there is there. I won't be making more sizes or replacing things as they sell, so if you've had your eye on something, once it's gone... it's gone!

There is one little exception...gilets! 😂

I'm going to continue making some gilets for the time being, but I won't be taking orders for those either. They'll simply appear on the rails at Made as and when I make them, so you'll have to keep an eye out!

There isn't one big dramatic reason for the decision. Life has changed, I've changed and thinking about where I want the next few years to take me, it just feels like the right time.

Bobe has been part of my life for 12 years, which is slightly bonkers when I actually think about it. I've made thousands of little clothes, used a frankly obscene amount of fabric, met some wonderful people and seen Bobe clothes worn by children who've subsequently grown into actual enormous grown up humans. 😂

So this isn't the goodbye post – I'm not ready for that yet, and you'll still see Bobe popping up for a while.

It's just the beginning of the end of a very lovely chapter.

Thank you so, so much to everyone who has bought from me, ordered from me, recommended me, shared my posts, visited me at events or simply followed along over the last 12 years. You've kept this little business going for far longer than I ever imagined when I started it.

For now, you'll still find Bobe exclusively at Made at No.16, 16 Tower Street, Ludlow – and keep watching those rails. ❤️
