I loved working on this project. The silk dupion I used is so old school but I really think needs a revival. This silk is sometimes described as raw silk because of its slubbed texture. And it comes in loads of colours. So if you want to be a bit more unconventional, just ask x

If you’re struggling to decide on a dress but want your wedding day to exude quiet luxury, then consider a basque waistline. It also ticks the retro box for vintage lovers (very 1980s) and those with a rebellious “Punk” spirit!
They can be super flattering on a wide range of body types and photograph beautifully!

So at last I’ve got around to sharing some of the fabulous photos from our recent wuthering heights inspired shoot. These are a snippet of the ‘wedding dress’ from pinning and draping in my studio to the final dress, complete with bang on trend - detachable sleeves. I love them so much and if you are looking for something a little bit ‘Cathy’ then I would love to hear from you. This dress I’ve called ‘Liv’ in honour of our beautiful model xx
