So the shop has been held up slightly due to ongoing work with the refurb but it is now finished.

We are so pleased to have so many New Forest based businesses working with us to stock their wonderful handmade products for us.

Itā€™s so exciting to see what is going into the shop.

We also have made many contacts for New Forest hubs.

Itā€™s very exciting to see what we will be selling and how informative and interesting our publication and our podcast will be.

Our first order from stinky stuff is on its way for us to sell in our stores ā€¦.. exciting

Welcome to Hold your Horses.
A new equestrian boutique shop in Lyndhurst with a wide range of products and products made by people within the New Forest and related to horses, donkeys, dogs and more.

We will stock everyday essentials to personal gifts, adults and childrenā€™s equestrian clothing, dog items.

We will aim to specialise in western saddles and tack and also have English saddles, side saddles, close contact saddles and matching tack.

We will also have a preloved section where all the items are relived but in excellent condition.

There will be saddle fitting available
And riding hat fittings.

Along with other professionals we will be offering classes and talks to everyone whereby an experienced and knowledgeable person will be teaching you.

We will have talks from farriers and vets and saddle makers and many other professionals from the forest.

We are aiming to be a hub for beingjng the forest together and will be creating a publication about all things equestrian and New Forest and will have interviews and discussions along with spotlight on one village each issue sharing the history and people of the village and Those who help make the village what it is. We will have childrenā€™s pages and competitions, short stories and recommendations having tested out products.

The other part to us is the blog and podcast where you will get to know our families and our animal family of which we have 4 horses and 2 donkeys and 5 dogs. All
Of whom Will feature along with interviews and fun.
Perhaps you will be someone featured and interviewed because if you live or work in the New Forest then you are important to it and to us.

Learn everything you can about the wonderful New Forest and all the people who work and live in it.
We think itā€™s a wonderful place with so much to learn and see in pictures.

So today we finally got our keys from the builder and the work is finished and we can now really truly say this is ā€œour shopā€
Scary, excited, nervous, and much more but most of all here comes hard work and thatā€™s brilliant xx

Hi Everyone

Our first post on our page!!

So we are Terry and Kerry, owners
Of Hold your horses Equestrian Boutique.
Between us we have three gorgeous daughters, 12 lovely animals who we absolutely adore.
I giant tortoise
5 sets of paws
6 sets of hooves

Well finally we have the go ahead for our shop and will be opening by December 1st at the latest, we will update everyone on the exact date when we know it and will be having an open day on that day with drinks and little giveaways.

Thankyou to everyone who has supported us so far with wonderful comments and good luck. We canā€™t wait to meet you all at our boutique shop and appreciate your best wishes.

We will be selling rider wear for
Adults and children.
Western saddles and tack
English saddles and tack
Essentials for the tack room and grooming box
Everything you need for your animals with hooves and even paws.
Good quality preloved items will be on sale too.

Hereā€™s a few pictures of our lovely minis, the boys and our babies!!. you will get to know each and everyone of them I am sure as we are very proud of them and will post lots about them.

Our stock will be shown on here and on our website, where you will also be able to make purchases.

Our mini Shetlands are our newest additions Sassy is our 30 Year old going on 15.
Parsley is our very naughty 17 year old but very funny.

Our boys are George and Baxter who we rescued almost a year ago. We are so proud of their changes.

The babies are our yearlings Donkeys who we have had since they were 3 months old.
