Each bear is hand sewn with love and respect. See album for some of the bears that I have made. I was born in Beccles, Suffolk but lived in Kent from 1971. I married my 2nd husband in 2012 and moved to Lincolnshire in 2015. Between us we have 6 children and 13 grandchildren, I have been knitting, crocheting, baking and sewing for 50+ years. In 2017 I have commandeered our conservatory and turned i

t into my sewing room. The loft and the fitted wardrobe in our guest room have become my wool storage and the garage hasn’t been ignored either with kitchen units full of fabric, ribbon and lace. There is always something to make or create and you will never find me watching the television without me having knitting needles, a crochet hook or the occasional piece of hand sewing in my hands. Apart from the items I make specifically for other people, you will find my makes listed on my page or you can find me selling them at various craft fairs in the area. I love my new life here and I love being busy. I also love it when we have family and friends come to stay and we can spend time together in the garden or on the beach.40

Such a tender milestone.
She’s not just a bear; she’s a piece of someone’s mum, shaped into something warm and holdable, carrying the softness of a skirt and the familiarity of a blouse that once lived real moments.

There’s something incredibly comforting about knowing she’s now in her forever home, continuing the story those clothes began. Turning grief into something gentle, something that can be held close on the hard days and smiled at on the easier ones.
