I just love weathered and worn! Hi everyone!

Yes, I know these sweet little birds are probably only 5 minutes old, but I loved them Arthur Swallow Fairs recently. Although I do my best to sell true vintage, occasionally a sweet little something sneaks though, that I can't resist, and if it's for home too, I don't mind 🐦

A day out today though with , meeting a supplier for Lawrence Wilson & Co. We're very excited to discuss their products and how we'll showcase them instore.

Waiting for a better day, a quieter day, a more special day! But what if today is the day?

Life isn't lived in the huge exciting moments, it's lived in these small snippets of joy everyday, and flowers definately do that for me.

So get out that vase, nip out to the shops or the garden and deliver yourselves some added joy, and use that vintage vase right now.

Life really is too short!

Very pleased with my old shop show card from Andrew Brown yesterday.

They've been asking me to pop in for a while, as I love old Hovis! Macclesfield our closest large town is originally the 'Home of Hovis' including what was once the Hovis factory, now desirable apartments.

My other purchase, also Hovis, is currently being restored, so watch this space if love old advertising too.

Behind the door of our tiny cotton workers’ cottage, stock is being sorted for a very exciting project.

A little while ago, our lovely friend Paul () invited us to join him in his dream of opening a vintage store in the heart of the Cheshire countryside. Lawrence Wilson & Co Vintage Homewares is the result of that invitation ()

Plans are now well underway, and we're delighted to announce that we’ll be opening on Saturday 29th August, near Knutsford, Cheshire, from 11:30am onwards (full details to follow)

Do pop in and say hello! We're gathering stock like crazy, so hopefully there’ll be something to suit all tastes and budgets.
