A pair of bespoke Mary Janes made in beautiful Welsh leather, hand tanned by Jane Robertson of using locally harvested hemlock. It's so rewarding working with this special leather 🌀

This pair has one sole built up to accommodate a slight difference in leg length - bespoke really is about far more than colour and style here at RED (as important as those things are!)

The best bit - choosing the colours for a bespoke pair! 🌞

This particular combination is Olive Green Diesel, Ferrari Red suede and olive stitching. We have a huge selection of leathers and suedes to choose from, from muted earthy tones to the slightly more "look at my shoes" end of the spectrum, and you can mix and match them across different parts of the shoe.

When you go bespoke, you essentially get to build a pair from the ground up: the leather, the suede, the stitching, the details, the fit.

And because the shoes are made around your feet rather than your feet being asked to fit the shoe, the finished pair is properly individual in every sense!

When AL passed, Ruth put a roll of this special russet red suede aside, knowing one day the time would come to make a pair of shoes from it.

Thick and wonderfully sumptuous, it's a rare colour that Ruth and AL hand-picked together from their supplier many years ago.

Lined in our coral suede, this pair feels especially meaningful, knowing AL was watching over Ruth's shoulder as she made them. ❤️

JB wanted to create a pair of shoes for herself, inspired by a classic boxer boot and a high-top trainer. Blending Ruth’s trainer shoe and Olly boot design, this is the result!

Handcrafted in black Diesel leather with olive green suede and finished with cream stitching, we absolutely love them! ❤️
