The on trend linen butterfly dress with collar and lapel styling has been taken in from underarm to waist and at the back too.
The dress with large ric rac straps has had tulle sleeves added 💕

Another fabulous bride who had two celebrations two weeks apart. The wedding part and then the party ! Two chances to wear and look gorgeous in her wedding gown.
I took this one in considerably from bust to waist, shortened the cold shoulder sleeve and took up all the layers on the full skirt too.
A fantastic lady to work with and the thank you chocolates were delicious ! 🥰💕

A much loved men’s orange wool duffle coat made bigger using a contrast wool fabric and lining.
I cut the coat down the middle and inserted a 4”wide panel through the back of the coat and hood to match. I then repeated this through the lining. So much life left in the coat and a firm favourite which can be enjoyed for years to come 😊

Beautiful prom dresses 💕💕getting there with them and still a lot more to finish.
Most of these have been taken up at the hem and some taken in.
The lime green dress has had fabric added at the hip with ruching created and flower beads added.
Can’t wait to see all these beauties being worn on prom night 💕

A great weekend for a wedding .. I had two brides this weekend and what fabulous weather for a May bank holiday ☀️😎💕
This beautiful crepe wedding dress and been taken in from underarm to waist and the v collar shortened to fit the new measurements.
Also taken up at the hem and a hook up created. The bridesmaid dress was taken up at the hem and in from underarm to waist on one side to help it stay up.
The mother of the bride dress was taken in down the cb and zip reset. It was also taken up at the hem. She dyed her shoes & bag to match the dress perfectly.

So many weddings this year .. thanks to all my brides for keeping me so busy 💕
I’ve also altered quite a few mother of the bride outfits and bridesmaids.
This beautiful m.o.b dress has been taken in considerably down the cb which meant removing the zip and resetting it.
The little flower girl dress has had excess fabric from the brides dress ( her mummy ) sewn on to the neck line , waistband and knot of the bow at the back 💕these outfits were worn at the wedding today ☀️☀️☀️☀️
