Best evenings look like this.

Tipis lit up from the inside, string lights up against the sky, everyone at the tables talking, laughing, taking their time over the evening.

This is usually the best part of the night. The formal bits are done, people have relaxed, and it just settles into good conversation and better music. Doesn't matter if it's a wedding, a birthday, or a work do, this is the hour that sticks with people.

Quick myth to bust: you don't need to be getting married to book a tipi. 🎉

We've pitched them for 40th birthdays, product launches, family reunions, and one very memorable retirement party that ran well past midnight. No aisle, no seating plan, no "first dance", just a proper space to gather people who matter, with none of the stiffness of a hired hall or hotel function room.

If you've been putting off celebrating something because "a tipi feels like a wedding thing", it isn't. It's just a really good way to bring people together outdoors.

Three tipis catching the afternoon sun, chairs already lined up, and a van parked outside like it's just popped by for the day. ☀

This is the in-between moment, after the build, before the guests. The field's gone from empty to almost-ready, and in a few hours it'll be full of people who won't quite believe this was grass this morning.

We get to see both versions of the day. This one's our favourite.

Weather: 0. Love: 1. ☔️

The tractor turned up looking better than most guests. The crates held four generations of wedding photos like they'd been waiting their whole lives for this job.

Then the sky fell in, the high street became a lake, and two people in their wedding best waded through it for a kiss because apparently that's just how they roll.

Tipis: unbothered. Couple: unbothered. Us: obsessed.
